Wireless Driveway Alarm detects metallic objects

• The plugin receiver in this set is the WR-3000 and plugs into a standard wall outlet  and may be set to one of four tones.  You may also additional receivers and sensors to the 3000 series driveway alarm systems.
• Driveway Alert only detects cars!  This driveway alarm is reliable, easy to install, and has up to a 600 ft range to receiver.  The WPA-3000 by Dakota Alert is a solid performer ideal for situations where you ONLY want to detect large metallic objects in entering your driveway or street.  The wireless sensor will not detect movement by non-metallic objects.
• The WR-3000 is equipped with four form “C” relays (one for each channel), and one 12-volt DC output terminal that will activate for several seconds when a signal is received. The receiver can be user-programmed, so the 12-volt DC terminal and one relay will activate for 10 minutes, if this is desired. The tones will still sound for several seconds.
• Temperature operating range of this product is -30 degrees to 120 degrees fahrenheit

The STI-30150 is a wireless driveway monitoring system that sends a wireless signal to a receiver when a vehicle enters your driveway.  The receiver will chime and a red LED will flash when it is activated.   Once the receiver chimes, it will continue to flash for approximately 15 minutes or until the reset button is pressed.  This system will transmit its wireless system up to 1,000 feet under ideal conditions and line of site.

*When the sensor detects a car and signals the receiver, there will be a five second delay for the unit to reset itself prior to detecting the next vehicle.

This system is a magnetometer based system which means large metallic objects, steel or iron, close to the system will trigger the sensor and thus send the wireless signal to the receiver.  This differs from a PIR based system which is typically activated by movement of any kind.

The benefit of a magnetometer system is that the sensor will not trigger based on movement by animals, leaves, people, etc.  The negative is that this system will not detect movement caused by animals, leaves, people, etc.

Wireless Motion Alert detects people and metallic objects or vehicles

• The motion sensor/transmitter is weather proof and meant for outdoor use. With the use of additional transmitters, up to four zones can be monitored simultaneously. The use can also program the transmitters so they will each sound different tones at the receiver.
